Friday Arvo Food For Thought – Hope.

Last week we had our trip to the snow. It was fun and Mountain Donna Buang was full of the stuff. What I learnt from experiencing the day with my family was far greater than I ever imagined. I wanted to share it with you so that if you want to, you can make full use of my realisation.

For at least 2 years we have talked about going to the snow. It became something we hoped to do. In the last week, I have read a book and a full chapter is on the power of hope. It got me thinking. It mentioned that in today’s world hope is a vague wish for something. It stated the power has been water down from it original meaning.

Historically the definition gives rise to the unlimited power of our mind. The meaning of hope is knowing you are going to make your aspirations happen. You have a clear plan. Your aspiration is then broken down into goals, steps and actions. Each task, step and therefore goal have completion dates. You now have a clear vision of what you are going to make happen, what you need to do and by when. You can see how you will make it happen in a given time frame.

I immediately applied this approach personally and professionally. When you have a clear outcome that is important you can complete each task; step and goal knowing you are making it happen. This keeps topping up the mental power of hope as you make progress. You feel alive and vibrant. I can do this becomes the way you think.

I designed a one page document, that when used wisely, will keep your mental power of hope fully charged and improve your situation and circumstances. You can use it today. Planner download.

Deferred hope takes the livingness out of life yet hope unleashed fulfils your life desires. I encourage you not to defer the hope that you have or that of others.  The fun, joy and experience we had and the lesson learnt made me think of what I want to make happen.   I completed the planner for professional and personal aspirations.   I've taken my hopes and converted them into aspirations, goals, steps and actions with dates. You can too.

PS My daughter just said I hope we get to complete my project today. We were meant to do it yesterday.  It is on the Leadbeaters possum. I hope the teacher knows the power of hope!

It is important to keep developing your mind with great ideas and methods to be, wealthier, healthier and happier.
